Founder and the principal of Patrick R. Sughroue P.C. d/b/a The Business Law Group, Mr. Sughroue has served as legal counsel and business advisor since 1983 in connection with various business organization, securities, capitalization, finance, merger, acquisition, consolidation and reorganization transactions with particular emphasis in the energy, real estate, technology, qualified opportunity zone and highly-regulated industries.


Mr. Sughroue maintains an alternative dispute resolution practice (strategic advisory, arbitration, and mediation) for securities, financial and general business disputes. He serves on the FINRA Board of Arbitrators. Mr. Sughroue has published and lectured on a variety of topics including securities law, business organizations, energy investment, venture capital, qualified opportunity zones and taxation. Mr. Sughroue received his Juris Doctor degree in 1983 from Wayne State University Law School (magna cum laude) and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Finance from The University of Notre Dame in 1980 (magna cum laude).
